With the ever-growing reliance on technology and the decline of forests and open spaces, studies show that the rate of depression, anxiety, drug abuse and neurological disorders are increasing. It is affecting people of all ages, including children. But studies also show that reconnecting with nature can improve the quality of life.

The greatest hurdles are two fold: combating nature phobia, and educating humans in this simple fact: spending time in nature must not be viewed as leisure time, it is vital for our health.

JLR is designed to work with existing nonprofit organizations to serve as a rescue mission for the disenfranchised, the sick, the tired, the poor to reintroduce God’s creation to their clientele. Through education and opportunity, JLR will provide the mechanism to get groups out into nature to minister to their well being.
